Conceived in the fuzzy waters of Southend On Sea, 3 nomads now collectively known as Dai -X emerge from a spurious past of sonic mayhem to reap their new wonky brand of atonal pleasure upon those susceptible to such unwieldy sounds. Their previous adventures yielded a prolific and varied palette of audible delights. Vocalist and Drummer Debbie Lane brings the ballistic and primal off kilter beats of Mikabomb and Breakneck Static, Russ Harris from Go Yoko grinds in the fuzzy math bass, and Rich Colvert brings his sharp contorted guitar textures from Bandits Of Stature. Combined their input takes form of a daring explosion of barbed sentiment and adrenaline fueled poly-rhythms stripping noise rock back to it's most fundamental elements. Their first mission is now complete with the release of their debut batch of songs which they have been chiseling away at in their spider-logged garage atop the hinterlands of Essex. These somewhat chaotic recordings may well please the dandy ears of those with an angular disposition and chipper folk with an unhealthy interest in jiving to odd numbers. So their story begins..... |
